Went up to the city this past weekend to continue our Valentine's tradition at Pier 39's Bubba Gump's. Were not disappointed with our favorites - the Shrimper's Net Catch, Bucket of Boat Trash and their pasta dish (linguini w/scampi and capers in a garlic lemon butter sauce - Y U M). Splurged and got the unnecessary Strawberry Shortcake dessert but boy was it delicious! Headed to nearby Chrissy Field to take a few pictures of the bump - soon it will be gone! Unfortunately someone forgot to bring the tripod so there are no shots of us together ... BOO!
Since there are only 2 more weekends (hopefully no less!) before the baby arrives, we've been trying to go out and do fun stuff on the weekends with our friends as much as possible. Saturday was no exception. Met up with our buddies Ray & Michelle to watch Valentine's Day at the Metreon, then it was off to a delicious (and surprisingly cheap) dinner at SO, joined also by Mark and Han. Afterwards we went to this nice bar called Nova where they had the Winter Olympics on a few nice flat screens and just hung out. All in all it was a great, relaxing and chill Saturday night with good friends - perfect!
This Saturday we're celebrating our buddy Jae's 32nd birthday - the tentative plan is to have dinner at this korean bbq place on el camino real called "#1" where everyone (except me) will get their drink on before moving on to more soju at a korean bar. boy do i miss strawberry soju! i get to be photographer and designated driver ... F U N.
